As a woman-owned enterprise with employees spread across four distinct global regions, diversity has been part of the GlowTouch DNA from the start. Still, the bar can always be raised, and we work toward doing that in several ways.
Among many of our strategies is impact sourcing, a means of talent acquisition that focuses on marginalized or overlooked populations. This entails a combination of internal recruiting and hiring efforts plus partnerships with groups that specialize in placing people from specific constituencies. Both are augmented by our WBENC and NMSDC certifications for use in supplier diversity programs, which we apply when seeking vendors for company-based projects. And we have established training and mentorship programs for disadvantaged persons to help them become more marketable, even if they do not seek to work for us or within the industry.
The leadership team reflects a broad mosaic of humanity, involving gender, ethnicity, age, experiences, and other factors that define a diverse group. This filters down to our preference for promoting from within across all departments. Our experience has been that multiple perspectives drawn from various backgrounds often yield the most effective solutions.
