By partnering with IBM, we’re able to combine their rich history of breakthroughs in data science and artificial intelligence with our unique blended learning model. The results?  Four comprehensive co-branded Master’s Programs in the fields of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence that have been carefully crafted to provide students with every detail they’ll need to master today’s most cutting edge tools and concepts.

Why IBM?

Talk about a brand that needs no introduction: IBM is a multinational information technology company that’s been making headlines practically since operations began in 1911. Over a century later, it continues to earn its reputation as a trailblazer, offering state-of-the-art products and services. The Brand Finance Report named IBM the second most-valued IT service brand globally.

IBM recently launched an accelerator program that aims to help new small businesses grow while keeping their data secure, primarily in the fintech and health industries.

IBM scientists successfully designed Label-Set Operations (LaSO) networks to create new labeled image sets, which is “the first method that can convincingly translate between visual and touch signals.”

The company is also planning to add AI into Db2 through various data science methods, which will encompass components of machine learning. IBM also recently updated Watson Studio to include AutoAI capabilities, which will free up time for data engineers when it comes to AI deployment. Watson currently owns 37.6 percent of the market.

IBM is undeniably a pioneer in the AI, cloud, and data science industries. Its commitment to developing smart, scalable technologies to help people and businesses work better together fits seamlessly with Simplilearn’s mission to provide our members with the resources they need to train on their time, in the environment that works best for each individual, so that they can achieve even the loftiest of career goals.

Benefits for Simplilearn Students

IBM’s trusted intelligence, paired with Simplilearn’s proven learning environment, offers students learning opportunities that are simply incomparable with other online education programs. In addition to receiving an industry-aligned integrated training program, students receive co-branded industry-recognized certificates upon completion of the programs, world-class instructors and content, including hands-on projects and chapter-end quizzes, access to IBM and Simplilearn labs directly within our learning management system (LMS), access to IBM cloud with $1,200 in credit, and access to the IBM Waston engine.

IBM co-branded Courses

If you’ve ever considered a career as a data scientist, our new Data Scientist Master’s Program, co-developed with IBM, will teach you everything you need to know to excel in this fast-paced industry. Students are taught all the fundamentals of machine learning, and gain in-depth knowledge on an array of data science essentials, such as Python, R, Tableau, and SAS. Upon completion, some of the many career options that students can pursue include data scientist, data analyst, statistical programming specialist, machine learning engineer, analytics manager, business analyst, and the list goes on.

Similarly, our Artificial Intelligence Engineer program, co-developed with IBM, teaches students the skills needed to dive further and master deep learning with machine learning. The course concludes with a portfolio-worthy Capstone Project, which is in addition to more than 15 other projects throughout the course. The capstone project gives students the chance to practice the skills they’ve learned while enrolled in the program, such as exploratory data analysis to model creation and fitting.

We’ll be rolling out two more Master’s Programs in partnership with IBM: Data Analyst Course and Data Engineer Course Masters Programs will make their debut this summer. In today’s competitive job market, standing out is imperative. The certificates students earn from IBM and Simplilearn will undoubtedly act as the stepping stone to some exciting career prospects; the content and thoughtful hands-on projects that enforce retention will take students beyond the interview and into impactful jobs and meaningful careers.

IBM is all about putting smart to work. Together, we’re taking that a step further, providing smart people the means to work in an increasingly competitive world.
