AI robots at chargers game – Videos depicting hyper-realistic “AI robots” attending an American football match in the United States have been widely circulating on social media in recent days. This is actually a promotional campaign for a movie set to be released at the end of September.

A series of videos showcasing “AI robots” seemingly present at an American football match have generated considerable curiosity and discussion on social media platforms. Some internet users are expressing concerns about the imminent “replacement” of humans by robots.

However, it turns out that this is, in fact, a marketing stunt designed to promote an upcoming film. All indications suggest that the figures in question are nothing more than actors in elaborate costumes.

Have humanoid robots designed to “replace” humans been spotted at a stadium during an American football match in the United States? This is what numerous posts circulating on social media platforms, including Twitter (now known as X) and TikTok, seem to imply.

In these shared videos, often accompanied by captions such as “We are being replaced” or references to a “great replacement,” one can observe what appears to be humanoid robots with remarkably lifelike human appearances on the stadium field and in the stands.

These videos have been posted in various languages, including English, French, and Spanish.

These “robots” are actually part of a promotional campaign for a film scheduled for release on September 29, 2023, titled “The Creator.” It is evident that these supposed robots are wearing clothing with this inscription, and the videos depicting the robots on a giant screen also display this inscription on the left side of the screen.

The Twitter account dedicated to promoting the film has also shared these videos, accompanied by the following statement in English: “The future is here. AI robots have arrived at the Chargers vs. Dolphins game at SoFi Stadium. Discover #TheCreator exclusively in theaters on September 29,” along with a link to a ticket sales website for the film.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, known for directing high-budget films such as episodes of Star Wars, the movie will narrate a futuristic war between humans and artificial intelligences.

Regarding the appearance of these humanoids, several clues suggest that they are simply (very) well-made-up actors. Close-up shots reveal what appears to be a clear demarcation between the actors’ skin and the makeup.

Furthermore, their appearances and movements seem too realistic when compared to the most recent humanoid robot models developed by robotics companies. One of the most advanced models in terms of realistic expressions, named “Ameca” and developed by Engineered Arts, for example, does not yet have the capability to walk.
